A bit about me
I am a Tasmanian photographer and conceptual artist. I have been making tintype portraits and landscapes since 2016 but my artistic practice over many decades has embraced other analogue processes and digital too.
I have held a number of solo exhibitions devoted exclusively to wetplate collodion tintype works including Window to the Soul, Gazed Upon Lake Pedder, Denizens and Image - Object.
My tintype portraits have featured on the covers of Tas Weekend, Island Magazine and have been shortlisted in the Henry Jones Art Prize and the Head On Photo Festival.
I am a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Doctor of Philosophy.
